I'll post the original picture, I took it in Val d'isere, the guy in the picture (Rob) wears very baggy pants.

Graphics created in PowerPoint using the shape tools are vector images as they can be resized without loss of quality.

It is also possible to download tools to export graphics creaded in PowerPoint as vector image files.

jacket could use more detail i think. why are there lines through the rising sun only on the left side? why are they there to begin with?
brandongriffin
well...

-hands are to big
-feet are to small
-not enough detail in the coat, needs better choice of colors for the shading
-should of been done in illustrator
-lense on the goggles should not be at 100% opacity since lenses arent opaque, should be around 45%
-background colors are to close in tone to the jacket, choose better background colors that make the image stand out more.

is he flying through some sort of magical time tunnel?
BR
is he jerking off?

If he's wearing regular shoes, then his feet are fine.
Your monitor must be super washed out cause the jacket detail looks fine to me.
If he's looking down, those are probably the vents on the goggles.
Where is the golden rule that says all vectors must be created in illustrator?
brandongriffin
first of all, im on a macbook with a screen that is just fine. And even if there vents, are vents 100% in color, vents from the distance of what were viewing this picture at you would barely see them, they should be more transparent.

the details on the coat are fine, but still the color of the shades and that coat are to similar making it hard to really view the details, i feel they should of been in a darker shade.

I go to school for this and i get bitched at for these same things that i pointed out, so if you really wanna bitch about what i said. go for it...where is your artwork in this thread? you didnt critique his shit once you just wanna argue with me, i pointed out everything about it that i didnt like, so he could make an already nice graphic, better. so post some shit and quit arguing with people instead of critiquing on the thread topic.
kingkezz
haha dude, chill. I wasn't arguing with you. In fact the only question I asked of you, was where is the golden rule that says vectors must be created in illustrator. the first line is a Q for the OP. the second and third line were a statement, not an argument.
brandongriffin
maybe i read wrong but still. Illustrator is the only real way to go in my eyes, but to each his own.

i think its really close to the origonal, but the rising sun lines are annoying.

I would just make some of the jacket shadings darker.
