Are you tracing these or are you using live trace? Because his hands look retarded and the microphone cord would look better if it continued instead of randomly stopping

it's pen tool... it was just hard to figure out what i wanted dark and light, cause I was zoomed in super tight it was pretty low res. here's the picture i was working with to give you an idea of what I based the hands off of.
