has anyone ever had problems with taking a genny in the snow? and lighting up like a rail or anything while its snowing? is there anything that can go really wrong with the genny in the snow? or should i just not take it in the snow? or while its snowing?

by genny do you mean generator? come on man, it's four more letters and doesn't sound retarded.
but as for your question, i haven't had any problems in the snow with a generator. they're built to stand a lot of stuff, you should be fine.

shit yeah i didnt reply because i dint even know what you were talking about. i was like is he fucking making some yarn while he films? but no chances are you will be fine. generators are built to withstand all kinds of weather cause they are out door tools

it's sounds so lame. almost as bad as a 'rad' or 'tranny'. as in radiator or transmission. maybe attending a gnar hick school has made me incredibly biased against these terms. imagine having to hear dudes in cowboy boots say 'git er done' every day for four years. barf.

yeah. I thought it was the universal word for generator.
When I think of tranny, on the other hand, I think of something completely different than a transmission.

ha sorry for the confusion on that. but thanks. i was just worried like if its snowing pretty decent out it might fuck up some wiring with the generator and cause it to short out in some way. dont want that to happen at all. any body have any experience with extension chords in the snow? any shorting out with those? i dont want someone to get a nice zap plugging one in at all haha

yeah, and if you need to resort to a power bar for some reason, only plug two lights into it. around a month ago we plugged 3 sets of lights into one power bar that was being fed by one 120V receptacle. bad scene. extension cord quit working because it melted and the power bar wouldn't turn on after.
