I've got a D300, it's super nice. I bought it like 4 months before the D700 came out, which got me super bummed. But the D300 is still an incredible camera. Just by the body only though, fuck the kit lenses.

I've you've got the bills, get the D700, it's full frame, and it's nice. The shutter doesn't sound nearly as satisfying as the D3, but at half the price, who cares.

i dont think i have 3000 dollars....i think the d300 will do nicely for me. ill probably pick it up in october. and yeah im just going to get the body.

i shoot D300. i want a D3 but just because the whole sequences taking 50 years to setup sucks.

the video mode on that D90 sounds cool..... 720/24p... if more cameras come out with improved feature could you imagine shooting video on a DSLR....

then again, Scarlet should shoot nice photos and i hear Red's got something up their sleeve for a DSLR/Cinema camera....
